And so begins another winter and with it the year is about to end. it is a good time to look back and reflect on all the good things that have happened and the good things that could have happened and did not.
It may still be so in the forthcoming year. For day follows day relentlessly and time moves on. But yet we do not loose hope for we have sent a slingshot to the moon and with a ticket of low cost bought ourselves some credit. What a big relief to the thousands of scientist and engineers working on it without the comfort of working for NASA and without the comfort of gas guzzling limousines and gravel lined driveways or low mortgage large houses in California or elsewhere in the USA. What about the ISRO scientists who left India and started working for American Industry only to given work not quite suitable for their superior qualifications? Do they now feel proud that their colleagues are in the lime light and being congratulated by the whole nation? Whereas their meagre achievements in their new homelands can hardly be counted.
